ShipServ CEO steps up to lead Marcura
Maritime tech firm Marcura Group has promoted the head of ShipServ as it plots a leadership transition. Henrik Hyldahn has taken over as group CEO from Marcura co-founder Jens Lorens Poulsen, who has moved to become chair of the board. Christian Siemers Haunso, co-founder and former chair of the board, has stepped aside from his position but remains an active board member.
Hyldahn, served as the CEO of procurement platform ShipServ for the last four years, a brand recently acquired by Marcura.
Poulsen commented, “After more than 10 years at the helm, I recognise that now is the right time to bring in new leadership to guide Marcura into its next phase of growth. Henrik Hyldahn brings a wealth of experience, particularly in integrating technology and product innovation, which is crucial for our customers.”
Founded in 2001, Dubai-headquartered Marcura’s enterprise suite includes PortLog, DA-Desk, MarTrust, ShipServ, ClaimsHub, and MCaaS.
