Shelf Drilling scores long-term jackup contract with ONGC

Dubai-headquartered Shelf Drilling has been awarded a three-year contract by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for 1976-built jackup rig Trident II.

The rig will be operating in the Mumbai High, offshore India, and planned start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.

Shelf Drilling currently operates a fleet of 37 jackup drilling rigs.
