Shelf Drilling jackup awarded extension by ADNOC

Dubai-based Shelf Drilling has continued a busy start to July, sealing a six-month extension with ADNOC for 1982-built jackup rig High Island VII.

The extension is in direct continuation of its current contract for drilling operations in the Arabian Gulf.

Over the past few days, Shelf Drilling has secured extensions for two jackup rigs with Dubai Petroleum and sealed a new jackup contract with Chevron in Thailand.
