Shelf Drilling awarded jackup contract extension in West Africa

Dubai-headquartered offshore driller Shelf Drilling has been awarded a one-year extension for its 1982-built jackup rig Trident XIV.

The extension is in direct continuation of its current contract for workover operations offshore Nigeria.

The extension keeps the rig contracted through to February 2021.
