Shelf Drilling awarded jackup contract by ONGC

UAE-headquartered offshore driller Shelf Drilling has ben awarded a three-year contract for jackup rig Ron Tappmeyer by India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.

The contract is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2019, and will see the 1978-built rig operating in the Mumbai High, offshore India.

Listed in Oslo, Shelf Drilling has a fleet of 38 jack-up rigs and one swamp barge.
