Shelf Drilling awarded Gulf of Thailand contract by Chevron

Dubai-headquartered Shelf Drilling has secured a contract from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production for 2008-built jackup rig Shelf Drilling Scepter.

The contract is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2020, operating in the Gulf of Thailand, through until the second quarter of 2022. A one-year option is also included in the deal.
