
Polarcus awarded work in Australia and West Africa
Dubai offshore seismic firm Polarcus has secured two contracts for work in Australia and West Africa.
The company has finalised one contract which will see Polarcus deploy an X-bow vessels for 3D marine for seismic acquisition works in Australia. The project is due to commence in the third quarter of 2017 and will run for around two months.
In addition, Polarcus has secured a 30-day extension to a West African campaign initially announced in January.
“The multiple awards announced recently are testament to our strong reputation with clients globally and our ability to secure key projects in the contract market, which is our previously stated strategy. These recent announcements provide clear visibility of our fleet through end Q3 and into Q4,” said Duncan Eley, COO of Polarcus.
