
Nakilat and Höegh LNG team up on FSRU projects
Höegh LNG has signed a memorandum of understanding with Qatari shipowner Nakilat to explore collaboration in floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs).
The parties have not disclosed the details of the collaboration.

Nakilat is always looking at opportunities of diversifying solutions to deliver clean energy worldwide, supporting the rising global demand of LNG,” said Nakilat’s Managing Director Eng. Abdullah Al-Sulaiti.

Nakilat operates the largest LNG shipping fleet in the world, comprising of 63 LNG vessels, while Höegh LNG provides floating energy solutions and operates floating LNG import terminals and floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs).
