Magseis scores Saudi Aramco seismic deal

Seismic specialist Magseis and partner BGP has been awarded a new large-scale ocean bottom seismic acquisition in the Red Sea for Saudi Armco’s S78 project.

The project, which will utilise seismic vessel Artemis Athene, has an expected duration of nine months to one year.

The survey will commence in July 2016 and features complicated surface and geological conditions with a combination of deep and shallow marine work.
