Lundqvist sells aframax
Aframax specialst Lundqvist continues to offload its oldest tankers. This week, brokers tell Splash that the 98,900 dwt crude tanker Thornbury (built 2001) has been sold for just under $11m.
This is the second ship sold by the Swedish outfit in 2019. In March it offloaded another vintage aframax to little known Dubai-based Marshal. The new sale has also ended up with another low key owner from the Middle East called Asia Charm.
The five-ship strong vintage tanker player registered in United Arab Emirates has renamed the ship Yoselin.
