Kent wins global commissioning services deal with Shell
Energy giant Shell has awarded energy services group Kent a global three-year enterprise framework agreement.
The contract is for the provision of commissioning and start-up services across various onshore and offshore projects as well as a wide range of energy sectors, including oil, gas, and new energy initiatives.
Kent will support Shell’s project portfolio with their highly experienced commissioning and start-up workforce while implementing its processes, systems, and tools throughout the program of works, including its custom-built Commissionability software.
According to the company, the deal will support Shell’s desire to improve performance metrics by eliminating outcome variability related to commissioning readiness and execution while optimising the start-up schedule and reliability of new facilities.
“We are excited about the opportunities this contract presents and are committed to setting new benchmarks in commissioning excellence. This collaboration will undoubtedly enhance our mutual goals for operational success and innovation,” said Tush Doshi, COO at Kent.
