Jesper Kristensen steps down as Unifeeder CEO
Jesper Kristensen has decided to step down as chief executive of Unifeeder Group.
The long-serving veteran of the DP World-controlled feeder operator has also resigned as chief operating officer of DP World Marine Services, a role he has led since 2021.
He will be succeeded by Martin Gaard Christiansen, who will head up the business in Europe, the Americas, and West and North Africa, while Ganesh Raj will take over as Unifeeder FZCO CEO, covering Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Kristensen joined Unifeeder as a capacity manager in 1990 and has been group CEO since 2007.
He has agreed to remain a non-executive DP World representative to P&O Ferries, P&O Ferrymasters and P&O Maritime Logistics businesses in the coming months.
“From a Unifeeder perspective, we are grateful for the invaluable contribution, incomparable dedication, energy and true Unifeeder DNA Jesper has brought to the company. At the same time, we look forward to continuing the Unifeeder journey with Martin and Ganesh,” the company said in a social media post on LinkedIn.
