Hilong Marine scores $36m contract in the Middle East

Hilong Marine Engineering has secured contracts with UAE-based fabricator Lamprell and Lamprell Saudi Arabia.

In a deal worth $36m the subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed Hilong Holding will provide engineering construction services for an undisclosed project.

The work scope includes transportation and installation of new platforms, retrofitting of existing platforms and installation of subsea pipelines and cables.

The Shanghai-headquartered oilfield services group said the deal “lays a good foundation for Hilong Marine Engineering to strengthen its market development in the Middle East oil and gas market.”
