Gulf Marine Services secures new liftboat contract

UAE-based liftboat operator Gulf Marine Services (GMS) has been awarded a 15-month contract, with additional options, for one of its E-Class vessels.

The contract is schedule to commence in January 2020, and is with an international supermajor supporting offshore well-work activities in the Middle East .

Tim Summers, executive chairman of GMS, commented: “This is the third new contract award for GMS in two months. It brings a valuable diversification of our customer base and further strengthens our order book for 2020, and beyond.”
