
Gulf Energy Maritime lifts product tanker orderbook in South Korea
Dubai-based commercial product and chemical tanker operator Gulf Energy Maritime has returned to HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea for more MR vessels.
The 50,000 dwt units will be delivered in 2026 at an undisclosed price and be named Gem Daniela and Gem Delilah.
Gulf Energy was formed in 2004 as a joint venture between Dubai’s Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), the Oman Oil Company (OOC) and Thales of France.
The company lists seven ships in operation and six MR newbuilds at Hyundai Mipo delivering in the next two years.
