Angelicoussis and Nakilat add four more LNG carriers in Korea

John Angelicoussis is upping his gas ties with Qatar via his company Maran Ventures. He and Qatari gas shipping line Nakilat have formed another joint venture to own four more LNG carriers. The new venture is split 60:40 in Nakilat’s favour. The four 173,400 cu m ships are being built in South Korea.

Angelicoussis commented, “Nakilat has been one of our strategic partners for many years and we are pleased to be strengthening our relationship with them.
